CREATIVE INFORMATICS INCLUSIVE INNOVATION WORKING SPACES FUND

At Tribe Porty we aim to provide a welcoming and supportive environment in which our members thrive. Tribe is big on building community and believes that a nurturing environment which sparks creativity and collaboration is good for business, individuals and communities. Having a dedicated work space with a sense of belonging can have an immense impact on both work and wellbeing. We have teamed up with Creative Informatics to open up funding opportunities to enable creatives from diverse or under-represented backgrounds to benefit from the use of working and hotdesking spaces. Creative Informatics is funding these spaces for people who meet key diversity characteristics and are also undertaking creative data driven work.

If you are interested in applying for a space, but would like to find out more about Tribe Porty first, you can read our Annual Report by clicking here.

Find Out More about Creative Informatics

The Creative Informatics Inclusive Innovation Working Spaces Fund is a strand of support providing professional working space for diverse and under-represented creative entrepreneurs and start ups in a number of partner organisations across the city region.

Creative Informatics is supporting hot desking spaces at five brilliant organisations, each of whom have particular specialist communities around them. Applicants must show that their work is creative, data driven, and that they are themselves diverse, undertaking work with diverse communities, or working on projects/businesses which have clear equality, diversity and inclusion impacts. This call is now open and will remain open until all spaces are allocated, however Round 1 applications (for hot desks from 1st June 2023) must be received by 26th May 2023.

Enquiries about applications should be sent to creativeinformatics@ed.ac.uk. They are happy to chat with you and support you with your application.
